Tate Commerce has ambitious plans to develop and grow its licensing business over the next few years, and this role is an exciting opportunity to create this change.
We’re looking for someone with strong business analysis skills and an excellent ability to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders within our network at Tate and with our corporate partners and prospective clients.
Experience of a wide variety of licensing deals will be essential, with an emphasis on a pro-active approach to exploring new business opportunities such as digital formats and brand license opportunities. In addition, we’re looking for someone with a good knowledge of intellectual property rights in relation to images and branding.
The Licensing Manager will report to the Licensing and Merchandise Director, working closely together to identify and actively seek new business opportunities, and working closely with the Corporate Partnerships team on joint licence plus partnership approaches. They will lead and inspire a team of 5 direct reports (4.4 FTE), and so good relationship management is essential.
