This is an exciting opportunity to join the Tate Britain Curatorial department. You will support the Department on the research and process of acquiring British Art, led by the Director of Collection, British art, and providing expert advice on works in the collection and other works of art covered by Tate’s area of expertise. You will also liaise with other Tate departments notably representatives of the International acquisitions team and other sites, Tate Research, Collection Care, Development and Communications.

As an organised, flexible administrator you will have relevant experience of working in a busy office environment. You will be highly computer literate, used to taking initiative, flexible and at your best in a busy team environment. With the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships at all levels, you will consistently produce all work to a high standard. You’ll be a proactive and flexible team member, who is also able to work unsupervised under their own initiative.
