Tate Liverpool is one of the largest galleries of modern and contemporary art outside of London, welcoming more than 600,000 visitors each year and displaying the Tate Collection of modern and contemporary art in new and innovative ways alongside ambitious temporary exhibitions.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide effective and efficient office and organisational support to our Exhibitions and Displays team.

Working as one of two Exhibition Assistants, this will include supporting the Curator and Assistant Curators to deliver and organise exhibition projects, maintaining and updating exhibitions and projects records, planning meetings, minuting meetings and arranging travel and accommodation for team members and guest artists.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent administrative skills including strong IT skills. Known for your highly organised and efficient approach, you will be skilled in working on your own initiative, prioritising a varied workload, balancing competing demands and meeting deadlines. A strong team player you be adept at fostering good internal and external relationships.

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of April 2018
