The aim of Tate is to increase public awareness, understanding and appreciation of British art from the 16th century to the present day, and of international and contemporary art. The Curatorial Department at Tate Britain is responsible for presenting exhibitions and collection displays that reflect and promote Tate Britain’s role as the world centre for the study and enjoyment of British art, as well as building the British aspect of Tate’s Collection.
Managing all aspects of programme administration within the Tate Britain curatorial team, you’ll be responsible for providing exemplary support to the Head of Programme Management and a high performing group of curators to ensure the programme is delivered smoothly.
As an experienced project manager, you will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to plan effectively, anticipating and meeting deadlines. Highly proficient in MS Office, you’ll have successfully maintained schedules and coordinated project delivery. You will have controlled budgets and have a commitment to getting value for money. You will provide a friendly and efficient service to all internal and external stakeholders as the departmental first point of contact for all programme related issues.
