If you can hit the ground running, this role offers the chance to work at Tate Liverpool, one of the largest galleries of modern and contemporary art outside London. Based on the Albert Dock, we show the Tate Collection of modern and contemporary art in new and innovative ways alongside ambitious temporary exhibitions.
With the opening of Portraying a Nation: Germany 1919-1933 in June and John Piper in November, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join us.
You’ll generate media coverage for exhibition and displays across a wide range of media, building our profile as a leading international art gallery in the North West. This will include developing positive media relationships and working on both proactive and reactive corporate communications. As well as collaborating with partners, you will also line manage an assistant.
This could be an ideal step up for a highly organised self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment. Your press experience will have included managing challenging press stories, devising proactive media campaigns and developing press kits. Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills and a good level of IT literacy will be essential.
This role is offered on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.
