The Advocacy & Events team sits within the Development department, but its scope stretches across the organisation. It plans activity to build new, and grow existing, relationships with individuals and organisations who support Tate whether it be through collaborative partnership, financial support or strategic influence. Meetings, events and trips are used to ensure all relationships are utilised to their full potential.
This crucial role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the international events programme. You will manage, plan and deliver meetings and events for Tate’s international supporters. Working closely with the Advocacy & Events Manager, International, you will play a key role in the success of international projects, using excellent organisational, project management and communication skills to help strengthen and broaden Tate’s relationships.
Working in the Advocacy & Events team you will manage events at and for Tate, including, but not limited to, dinners, receptions, private views and breakfasts. Working closely with the Advocacy & Events Manager, International you will play a key role in the success of each project, your impeccable organisational skills will result in a smooth-running events and trips that strengthen and broaden Tate’s relationships with individuals and organisations.
You will have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, juggle competing priorities and deliver to deadlines. You will have an excellent eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in the international art calendar and the work of Tate.
