A great opportunity has arisen to join the friendly and hard working team in St Ives. We are currently recruiting for Waiting Staff to work in the café supporting our increased offer over the summer and autumn months. We have one permanent contract working 20 hours per week and two fixed term 0 hours contracts ending 31 October 2021.

As an individual and as part of the team, you will be offering customers a memorable experience by being helpful, friendly and efficient. You will also assist with general operations in the day to day running of the café.

Tate Eats is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tate. Our activities vary from providing a restorative cup of tea to a weary visitor, right the way through to catering for special events being held by Tate’s corporate sponsors. Our aim is to be the market-leading caterer within the arts and to consistently provide outstanding food, drink and service at the four Tate sites and the other sites within our business.

The Café at Tate St Ives is located on the top floor of the gallery with spectacular views over St Ives, Porthmeor Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The café also features a rooftop terrace open during the warmer weather.

Where possible Tate St Ives uses the best Cornish growers and suppliers, from cheese to fish, potatoes to ice cream and cider to wine, we’re proud to stock and sell premium Cornish goods.
