Tate wants to ensure the digital content we produce for schools, teachers, and learners is both useful and easily accessible. In order to achieve this, we are looking for a Schools and Teachers Digital Content Manager to help us understand what teachers really want from our website.

You will be responsible for gathering, organising and prioritising requirements for non art specialist teachers to support their access and enjoyment of online content. Following this, working with the Schools and Teachers team, you will advise on what digital content could be co-commissioned to better serve our audience.

You’ll be working closely with two teams - Tate Digital and the Schools and Teachers team. Tate Digital are a smart and caring cross-disciplinary team who are passionate about using technology to make art accessible to everyone. The School’s and Teachers team work with artists, young people and teachers to create inclusive and multi-voiced projects, resources, teachers’ events and courses for all those in formal education.

If you are naturally curious about how people engage with technology, and committed to the importance of user research and empathy within the content design process then this job is for you.
