This is an exciting opportunity to join Tate press office and to play a part in promoting Tate to the international, national and regional media.

Working alongside a Press and Communications Manager, you will support the implementation of proactive press campaigns for exhibitions at Tate Britain and Tate Modern as well as one-off events and displays. You’ll be organising and managing press views, photo-calls and press trips as well as sourcing and clearing images for editorial use and assisting with the preparation of press materials. You will also have the opportunity to devise and manage press campaigns yourself for some designated projects.

As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience in a press office or PR team and be looking to take the next step in a career in arts PR. The role is varied, and you’ll need to simultaneously juggle numerous and disparate projects. You’ll have good understanding of and ability to work with different media outlets, potential partners and audiences. You’ll be an expert multi-tasker and confident communicator with an eye for detail and a strong interest in the visual arts.
