The aim of Tate is to increase public awareness, understanding and appreciation of British art from the 16th century to the present day, and of international modern and contemporary art. The Development team is responsible for all fundraising at Tate; this includes raising money through corporate events, membership and sponsorship, trusts and foundations, the public sector and individual donors.
The Development Office is responsible for all fundraising at Tate, implementing strategies to raise support from the private sector for a variety of revenue and capital projects. It raises money from corporate events, membership and sponsorship, trusts and foundations, the public sector and individual donors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join one of the strongest fundraising teams in the UK today. Along with processing and monitoring all divisional expenditure, and some fundraised income you will also provide administrative support across the Development division. Additionally, you will support the Operations manager in the delivery of donor care activities, and take responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of Guide and Catalogue mailings.
With strong demonstrable numeracy skills and good attention to detail, you will have a methodical but flexible approach to duties. Your excellent communication and administrative skills will allow you to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines and you will have proven experience of working in a busy office environment.
