Tate mission is to serve as artistically adventurous and culturally inclusive art museums for the UK and the world. We do this through activities in our four galleries across the UK (Tate Liverpool, Tate St Ives, Tate Britain and Tate Modern), our digital platforms and collaborations with our national and international partners.
The Finance Department is responsible for financial planning, reporting and control for Tate. The management accounting team, reporting to the Head of Finance, is responsible for management reporting, forecasting and budgeting. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and work with one of the leading arts brands in the UK, in a role which gives you good exposure across the business and at a variety of levels.
In this role you will be responsible for taking a lead role in the financial management of Tate, providing financial business partnering, management accounting and reporting to key stakeholders within the organisation at all levels, supporting them in budget-setting and helping them to understand their financial position. You will also provide analysis on an ad hoc basis and for financial reporting that is used by senior stakeholders to drive strategy and business decisions.
To be successful in this role you will be a qualified accountant, with post qualified experience, who has a track record of providing management reporting and analysis in a sizeable, complex business. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence and flexibility to work in a busy, results-focused team and influence at senior levels.
Our jobs are like our galleries, open to all
