Tate mission is to serve as artistically adventurous and culturally inclusive art museums for the UK and the world. We do this through activities in our four galleries across the UK (Tate Liverpool, Tate St Ives, Tate Britain and Tate Modern), our digital platforms and collaborations with our national and international partners.
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in our Finance department. You will be gaining a huge variety of experience, dealing with complex and interesting work which will stretch you professionally.
In this role you will provide an effective operational finance service to Tate, Tate Foundation and other Tate entities. You will undertake the full spectrum of financial tasks such as ensuring good internal controls, managing the audit programme, risk management and ensuring the effectiveness of finance related IT systems. There will be a strong focus on working across the organisation and with external tax consultants to ensure compliance with PAYE and VAT legislation.
To be successful in this role you will have significant post-qualification experience in a large, complex organisation and proven track record of delivering customer-focused finance services. A good people manager, with excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships both within and outside of the finance team and develop high performing teams.
