This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the strongest fundraising teams in the UK and help Tate to grow and strengthen the national collection as you support the fundraising efforts within Tate’s busy and ambitious Major Gifts & Public Sector team.

In this role, you will support the Development Manager, Legacies & Collections in driving Tate’s fundraising efforts to maximise legacy pledges of cash and works of art. You will also provide key administrative support for the wider Collections Development team in securing gifts to build the national collection, and for the Development Operations team in delivering the Tate Fund programme. Alongside, you will act as the first point of contact for current and prospective legacy donors to help secure Tate’s future as a place of appreciation and enjoyment of art for our millions of national and international visitors.

Highly organised, tenacious and self-motivated, you will have a proven ability in a range of administrative competencies with both excellent relationship building skills and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Your strong prioritisation skills and methodical approach will allow you to undertake a number of tasks simultaneously, meeting multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy in your work. What’s more, you are a team player with an innate ability to promote an inclusive, respectful and collaborative culture within a team and across a large organisation.
