Tate Eats is seeking a Commis Chef to join their busy team at Tate Liverpool.
We are looking for a talented, ambitious and friendly individual, with previous similar experience and a drive to learn.
You will have a proactive, 'can do' attitude and will be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and some early mornings and late nights. This role is being offered on a fixed-term basis until 10 November 2019.
The successful candidate will have
•Proven experience in a catering/kitchen environment as a Commis Chef or similar
•Good knowledge of food and food hygiene
•Knowledge of chemicals and COSHH training
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to communicate with staff at all levels
•Flexible with working hours; available to work early mornings, late nights and weekends, on a rota basis
•Work effectively within a team, to be self motivated and enjoy motivating others
•Work to the highest hygiene standards
•Pro-active, reliable and the ability to work well under pressure
