Be the public face of Tate Liverpool by helping 650,000 people a year get the most from their visit. We’re home to the national collection of modern and contemporary art in the North of England. Based on the Albert Dock since 1988, we’ve welcomed more than 14.5 million visitors to our collection displays and ambitious programme of temporary exhibitions.
From greeting visitors and providing information about exhibitions and displays, to selling tickets and ensuring the safety and security of artworks on display, this is a varied and interesting customer service role. It’s an opportunity to increase your knowledge of modern and contemporary art and share your enthusiasm with our visitors.
We offer training, but you’ll need an interest in art, well-developed customer service skills and plenty of initiative. You’ll also need to be able to stay alert and motivated whether the galleries are busy or quiet.
You will work as part of our bank of casual staff and may be offered work on any day of the week including weekends, Bank Holidays and evenings. We try to give as much notice as possible but offers of work may also come at short notice, so we’re looking for people who live within reasonable travelling distance of Tate Liverpool.
Our jobs are like our galleries, open to all
