Lead Marketing Manager, Membership

We are looking for someone to lead outstanding marketing campaigns and communications to deliver ambitious growth across Tate Members and our email subscribers as we work towards reaching 250,000 Tate Members by 2030.

Our 140,000+ Tate Members, 170,000+ Tate Collective Members and 250,000+ email subscribers are incredible advocates for Tate, making up a large proportion of our visitors and providing crucial support for our galleries, helping fund exhibitions, new acquisitions and access to the collection for all.

The Tate membership team is responsible for delivering outstanding experiences for Tate Members, Tate Collective and email subscribers across all marketing channels and touchpoints. Working across the four galleries and collaborating with colleagues across the organisation, we are responsible for delivering on ambitious targets for growing our email subscribers, retaining current Members, acquiring new Members and maximising revenue and satisfaction and we are passionate about giving visitors and Members the best possible experience of art to build loyalty and deliver lifetime value.

You will bring to the role experience of devising, planning and managing the delivery of marketing strategy across digital and print channels. You have excellent attention to detail, a flair for writing engaging copy and using data and insights creatively to deliver first class marketing communications.
Naturally collaborative you are able to build trusted relationships quickly and bring people together to increase impact and efficacy. With this experience you will have demonstrable commercial acumen, excellent project management skills, the ability to prioritise workstreams and work effectively as part of a team, motivating a team to deliver consistently high performance, as well as individually to develop your own projects.




This position is offered on a 12 months' maternity cover contract.
