Are you a new graduate Conservator? Tate has an exciting opportunity to join the sculpture and installation art conservation team as an assistant conservator
You will work with the sculpture conservation team to manage and deliver the condition assessment, treatment, and documentation requirements for the loan’s programmes across Tate the UK and world wide, as part of the team you will work across all Tate sites; London, Liverpool & St Ives
Sculpture and Installation art covers single sculptures to full room multi component artworks, they can be made of any material and combination of materials from metal to plastics to flora and fauna, the artworks can be static or kinetic, your role will be to support the loans team to prepare these works for loan out
As such you will need to have a broad range of experience with materials and be an excellent communicator, skilled at organising you time, enthusiastic and have an interest in contemporary art.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027
