We are currently recruiting for two Art Handling Technicians on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027 within our Art Handling team based across our London sites and Wiltshire.
Day to day duties include installing varied and complex artworks at Tate Britain and Tate Modern, working within our art storage facilities to prepare, pack, and despatch artworks for loan to venues worldwide, and caring for the new acquisitions to the collections.
You will be able to demonstrate practical experience and technical skills that will give you the ability to problem solve prioritising the care, installation and movement of art works. You will have an adaptable attitude, great communication skills and enjoy working flexibly as part of a team, committed to getting the job done. We will provide a full equipment training programme, including all technical certifications required, to enable you to work within the Tate’s standard.
