Reference:TG4222

Opportunity type:Permanent, Full-time

Working hours:36 hours per week

Salary:£29,348 per annum

Location:St Ives

Closing date:08 September 2024 at midnight

You will play a key role in the delivery of Tate St Ives’ ambitious programme of exhibitions and collection displays, which offers fresh perspectives on the histories of modernism in Cornwall in relation to global and contemporary contexts.

We will look to you to ensure effective communication across teams to deliver projects successfully, within budget and to the highest standards. You will work closely with the Director and Exhibitions and Displays Curator to develop and realise the programme of exhibitions and displays while contributing to research and negotiating loans to inform and support the curatorial process. You will also be expected to prepare budget estimates.

We are looking for a well-organised team-player with experience of working with collections and exhibitions, able to multi-task, meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail. You will be imaginative in your approach to exhibition organisation and will come to us with a sound knowledge of twentieth century and contemporary art.

We welcome candidates who can bring new and under-represented perspectives and voices into their work with exhibitions and the collection, particularly within the context of the legacies of colonialism, and ongoing racism and societal inequalities.
