A great opportunity has arisen to join our busy People Department as an HR Advisor, we are recruiting two positions - one full-time and one part-time.

We offer a comprehensive in-house HR service to all the departments within Tate Enterprises Ltd which is comprised of Tate Commerce and Tate Eats. We work closely with Tate Galleries, providing a wide range of revenue-generating functions, including the Retail and Catering outlets within the four Tate Galleries, as well as Tate Publishing, Online Shop and many other departments. Both Tate Commerce and Tate Eats share the aims of Tate to reach as wide an audience as possible, by offering unique and high-quality service to a diverse range of customers.

The HR Advisor works in partnership with line-managers to deal with all staffing matters from recruitment through the entire life-cycle of employment. You will be providing advice and information to ensure everyone follows company procedures at all times and managers make fair and consistent decisions regarding staffing issues. You need to have demonstrable experience in establishing effective business relationships with line-managers as well as handling an Employee Relations caseload.

Our ideal candidate will have experience gained in an in-house, generalist HR role, preferably in hospitality or retail, with strong administrative skills, a high degree of computer literacy, a meticulous and organised approach to your workload, and a keen eye for detail. Significant involvement with Employee Relations and case management experience is essential, as well as up-to-date knowledge and application of Employment Law and best practice. You will have the ability to form good working relationships, you will thrive as an integral member of our team and have bags of common sense with a pro-active, can-do positive attitude.
