First impressions are really important to us, so if you would like to be one of the first people our visitors meet and you take pride in giving them an exceptional welcome, then this role is for you.

Your day will be varied across a number of locations in the galleries and on the admissions desk at Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. Wherever you are, you will be helping a diverse range of audiences to get the most from their visit.

With keen attention to detail, you will welcome the last visitor of the day with as much kindness and attention to detail as you did the first. We will ensure you are provided with the resources, training and support to thrive and be your best for yourself and our visitors.

Casual Visitor Assistants provide flexible cover as required; therefore, hours will vary. Hours are offered with as much notice as possible over a 7-day rota, so you may be asked to cover weekends and bank holidays.
The hours are offered on an ad hoc basis, so you are free to decline hours that are not suitable for you and Tate is under no obligation to offer you hours.
