Tate is looking for an experienced Paper Conservator to join the vibrant Paper and Photographs Conservation team, to work on Tate’s diverse historic, modern and contemporary collection. The role is focused on the Storage and Operations Project; optimising storage, and access to works of art.

Day-to-day, you will be assessing, surveying, documenting and treating works of art on paper and photographs for storage and access. You’ll work closely with the project senior conservation technician, paper and photographs advising on storage, mounting, framing and packing. We are looking for someone with a professional qualification in the conservation of art on paper and demonstrable practical experience treating a broad range of artworks, who enjoys being creative, pragmatic, testing out new ideas, providing solutions and collaborating with colleagues.
