Tate has an extensive programme of displays across its four sites Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool and Tate St. Ives, as part of Tate’s mission to promote public understanding and enjoyment of British art from the 16th century to the present day, and of international modern and contemporary art.

As an Assistant Collection Registrar (Displays) you will be part of the Collection Management team and involved in the display process from start to finish. You will spend varied days co-ordinating and documenting the movement and installation of art works from our collections, prioritising their care.

Your excellent organisation and planning skills, experience of complex tasks and the ability to solve problems pragmatically and through negotiation, prioritising the care of works of art sets you apart. You have a positive, versatile attitude with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines whilst retaining excellent attention to detail. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will also mean that you communicate diplomatically and effectively at all levels, both internally and with external contacts.

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2025.
