The Sculpture and Installation Art Conservator role will provide support and expertise for Sculptural artworks at Tate sites with a focus on processing new artworks into the collection. The role will also collaborate and contribute to the conservation and collection care activities within the team, contributing to development of procedures and workflows for the preservation of the works in the collection.

In this role, you will assess and process artworks for touring exhibitions, working alongside the loans out conservators and managing a senior technician. You’ll like this role if you enjoy working with contemporary artworks across a wide range of materials and construction types. You will also research and create document files for each artwork and work with specialists to get works display ready.

The successful candidate will have a professional qualification in conservation (Sculpture or Objects Conservation) or equivalent experience. They will also have experience in undertaking assessment, treatment and documentation of objects.
